Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Never undervalue your importance. The only contact others have with the peace and love of God may be through you. The simplest smile, the smallest gesture, and the smallest touch of the hand can often mean so much. These gestures often turn a life of darkness into a life full of God's light and love. So many lives are caught up in the darkness! Persons in darkness need you. They desperately need you to show them the love and peace only Christ can bring.
Many people are mired down in the darkness of pain, suffering, or sin. People caught up in the darkness or caught up by the darkness display acts of silent desperation seen as a frown, a deep sigh, or a verbal disdain of God's love. Wherever you go, whatever you do, at any time or place, inspire people and others to look up to Christ Jesus.
We all have a vital part to play in our world. We all need to love each other because we need each other. We cannot do all things by ourselves. We cannot be all things by ourselves. If we are honest, we must admit the value of others in our life is immeasurable. Lift others up, comfort them, and give your all to them.
